Not only was this weekend General Conference for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but I also had the opportunity to have a play day with my nephews and neice. Between conference sessions we played in the sprinklers and went every childs favorite place to eat, McDonald's. During the priesthood session Aunt Anna, that's me, took them to the park to play. We had a great time! With all this playing I was getting tired. :/ We ate dinner and got the kids ready for bed. After a hard day of fun and work it all became worth all the energy exerted when my dear little shy neice Olivia cuddled with me and said, "I love you, Anna." My heart became so tender and I feel like I had a glimpse of what it will be like to be a mother. Lots of hard work but definitely worth every ounce of energy. We had a sleepover too and she was so adorable and peaceful. I absolutely love children!
Become as little children, so tender, meek, and full of love.
