Labor Day 2011

Happy Labor Day or in McKade's words Happy Lover Day!! :D

This holiday weekend I rode my brother Wesley's horse and took some cool pictures. His name is Paco but McKade and I like to call him 'Maximus' like the horse from the Disney movie 'Tangled'! ;) We absolutely love that movie! I took McKade for a ride on him last Labor Day.Today I am going on a hike with my awesome family at Red Cliffs. It will be great! After, of course, I am going to be studying for my first test in Calculus which is tomorrow. :/ This class is scary but it is not as bad as I thought it would be. Wait a minute! What am I saying? We are only going through review right now no wonder it isn't as difficult as I thought. Haha. This class is going to take a lot of focus and time that is for sure. ;) Anyway.

For Labor Day I like to think of the jobs I have or have had and definitely I love to think of the job I will someday have. I remember working for the UPS store when I was 15, then my dad opened a business and I started to work for him. When I turned 16 I started working at the Pasta Factory on Ancestor Square, only the best Pasta Factory in town! ;) I am on my 3rd year there and it is great. When I turned 18 I started working as a newspaper carrier. I have been delivering newspaper for a year and the early mornings are not so bad anymore. The city looks so peaceful and the stars are amazing! The best time to see shooting starS is when it is a full moon and while you are delivering papers at 4:30 in the morning! ;) Of course the city is peaceful cuz who in their right mind would be awake at that time, right?! Haha. I am hoping to start a medical job soon but til then papers and pasta are stickin' with me. They are great especially while I am in school! :D

I also like to contribute this day to my dad. He has been working so hard for so many years to raise me and my family. He is amazing! Just like his father before he works hard and does his best. I admire the way he works and I am so grateful for him and the way he has taught me how to work not only through yard/house work but by his example. Thanks dad! I love you. :)

I hope you have a great Labor Day. I know I will spending it with my fam. :)
